Octopus's Garden

I've just recently completed an Illustration based around the beatles song 'Octopus's Garden', was quite a process. First I drew the octopus by hand, took it into illustrator and created the inverse, then worked over the top with tracing paper to draw in each individual shape by pencil, then again with pen. I was hoping by using pen it would be high enough quality to live trace, but wasn't working that great so eventually I decided to go back in and re-draw the entire thing in Illustrator with the pen tool. Hopefully was worth all the effort! And my stock images I took at the Melbourne Aquarium finally came in use as each of the fish included are based on actual fish. Let me know your thoughts!
