Introduction

I previously had a blog through wordpress, but I've decided to start one in blogger instead purely because I found a layout that I preferred to work with. For some background my name is Amanda and I am a graphic designer based in Newcastle, Australia. Will sooner rather than later be making the move to Melbourne however. I did a Bachelors Degree in Vis Comm at the University of Newcastle, worked for 12 months as a marketing & advertising co-ordinator for a national retail company, and now I'm back at Uni doing my Honours in Vis Comm focusing on typography. This blog will mainly focus on Design and Design Events, also lots of nerdy things about type and magazines, as this is what I love. Feel free to send me an email!
